David Heekin, a Jacksonville native, is the founder and owner of Heekin Law and Landmark Title. Heekin earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration, MBA and Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida. Immediately after being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001, Heekin opened his law firm and began practicing primarily in the area of residential and commercial real estate.
Heekin is a father to three boys and one girl and enjoys his time with his family, watching Gator football and traveling.
Mr. Li has been a practicing attorney for over twenty years in Northeast Florida. He started his career at a boutique law firm in Jacksonville, Florida specializing in real estate development and representing clients in raw land acquisition, due diligence, development and disposition. After rising to shareholder, William pursued an opportunity with the General Counsel’s office for the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, handling all of the University’s legal matters in real estate, finance, and contracts. However, the lure of private practice brought William back to Jacksonville, where he now practices law again.
William is a member of the Florida Bar and is a member of numerous lawyer associations and charities. He is a graduate of the University of Florida (BS) 1996, University of Florida (Masters in Real Estate Finance) 2000, and University of Florida College of Law (JD) 2000. He is a husband and father to twin boys and enjoys spending time with his family, good food, and sports.
Katrina Baugh was born and raised in the Midwest, where she met her husband, Joshua. She has been a proud military wife for over 15 years, her husband is currently serving in the Florida Air National Guard, 125th Fighter Wing. Together they have a son and daughter, who she enjoys watching play hockey and cheer. When she is not at a hockey game or cheer competition, she also enjoys spending time with her dogs and pet pig, as well as paddle boarding and enjoying the Florida sunshine.
Before Katrina was a licensed title agent, she was a licensed Florida real estate agent for 5 years. She joined the Landmark Family in 2018 as a processing assistant and has worked her way up to Director of Operations. Katrina continues to use her previous processing experience to guide, train and support our processing staff.
Rose Alberre has been practicing law in Florida since 2002, serving clients in a wide variety of business and real estate matters, including residential and commercial real estate transactions; business and contract negotiations and disputes; business entity formation and other corporate work; foreclosure prosecution and defense, landlord/tenant matters and general practice.
Rose began her legal career as a Federal Judicial Law Clerk, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, in the Tampa Division. Rose graduated Cum Laude from Stetson University College of Law where she obtained her J.D. degree and also obtained her M.B.A. from Stetson University Summa Cum Laude. Rose received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband (a Jacksonville native) and their four children.
With a dynamic career spanning over 17 years in marketing, business development, and 9 years real estate, Brit has carved out a niche for herself in helping small to medium-sized businesses thrive. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business, Brit’s journey began in social media in 2007 and has evolved into a multifaceted career that bridges various industries.
As the Marketing and Business Development Director at Landmark Title, she has helped in the expansion of the company’s presence statewide. This role follows her tenure as Marketing Director, and reflects her adaptability and commitment to driving business growth.
Driven by a profound desire to make a positive impact, Brit is a strong advocate for paying it forward and spreading kindness. She firmly believes in the power of a smile and the difference it can make in someone’s day.
